This is my final blog, reflecting on my experience on using blogger to complete my homework assignments in Health 100.
I was completely lost at first, and I am still a little confused, on how it works while using Blogger. But it does help to accomplish reviewing and replying to other student's blogs easily without doing so in person.
Based on what I have learned so far while using Blogger, I don't plan to continue using it unless one of my other classes here at palomar will use this social website.
See you guys!

1. Devil’s Claw: A traditional South African Root used for gastrointestinal disorders, which has become popular in Western Europe as an herbal replacement for Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory medications (NSAIDs). Although it is often used as an appetite stimulant or liver tonic, no studies have been evaluated in terms of safety during pregnancy, lactation, and childhood.

After
finding all the following items from each fast food restaurant, I found it
really surprising to find how much fat, salt, and calories there are in each
food item. What also got my attention was how most people choose the least
healthiest foods because of how they sound and look healthy when they actually
aren’t.

Blog Assignment #5: Stress Reduction
The Stress Reduction I usually do is listening to music. I spend most of my time listening to Hawaiian music. It helps me keep my mind off other things that would stress me out. I choose music that is calm, relaxing, and slow, and sometimes, I would sing along to help me more to forget what else goes on around me. After I finish listening, I feel more relaxed and more in control of what I do, even after a nasty argument with anyone.
I do feel that this helps a lot with my stress; I would do it every time if I feel I need to either relax or get away from all the stresses in life.

Blog Assignment #4: Love Language
<3
I took the Love Language Quiz, which was easy to navigate through once I found the website.
The quiz consisted of 30 statements that others might do or say to show love to you. It will single out your primary love language, what it means, and how you can use it to connect with those closest to you and effectively enhance the relationships in your life. All you have to do is pick one item in each pair that you like better. It only takes 10 to 15 minutes to complete the profile. The highest score indicates your primary love language. The lower scores indicate those languages you seldom use to communicate love and which probably don’t affect you very much on an emotional level.
My scores were:
The quiz singled out my primary love language as Physical Touch.
I found this activity fun and insightful; I would recommend this to anyone who wants to enhance their relationships with or get closer to people in their lives.

Physical Touch

The quiz singled out my primary love language as Physical Touch.
A person whose
primary language is Physical Touch is, not surprisingly, very touchy. Hugs,
pats on the back, and thoughtful touches on the arm—they can all be ways to
show excitement, concern, care, and love. Physical presence and accessibility
are crucial, while neglect or abuse can be unforgivable and destructive.
After reading about this, I wasn't surprised to learn that my love language is Physical Touch because physical expressions show me more of how people care for me than expressions with words. However, I was surprised to learn that my lowest love language score was Receiving Gifts because I REALLY do like getting presents. I found this activity fun and insightful; I would recommend this to anyone who wants to enhance their relationships with or get closer to people in their lives.
